Conditions of vehicle detailing with Prestige Car Cleaning
Our Location:
By entering into the home based premises, you agree to pay all fees payable for your wash service and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Failure to accept these conditions means that you must leave the premises immediately.
Mobile Servicing:
Once PCC employee/s have entered your premises where the booking location is confirmed, you agree to pay all fees payable for your detailing service and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Failure to accept these conditions means that PCC employee/s at your premises are required to leave the location as the booking is now voided.
By choosing this website, you accept the terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Prestige Car Cleaning Website (www.prestigecarcleaning.com.au) if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions included on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements:
- “Client”, “you” and “your”: Refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting Prestige Car Cleaning’s Terms and Conditions.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration with required payment to complete the full servicing that has been booked. This is done in a professional manner from both parties, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means. In the purpose of assisting our Client’s needs in respect of our Company’s servicing and products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Australia. This also includes terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/ or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore referring to the same.

Disclaimer
Prestige Car Cleaning includes Disclaimers, clarifying our company's services.
General:
- Our Disclaimers support and respect our company's policy of being transparent to our clients.
- Our trained team will ask for any pre-existing damages to the vehicle. Prior to the cleaning, our trained staff are required to look over the vehicle for any prior or pre-existing damages. This is to ensure our company is not accountable for any of the pre existing damages that have incurred prior to our servicing. Prestige Car Cleaning expects honesty from our clients to let us know prior to any mechanical issues that have been repaired, or getting repaired, any recent scratches or damages to the vehicle including, not limited to road worthy services, and any faulty issues per valent on the vehicle. Our staff are permitted to take before and after photos/ videos, not just for advertising or promotional purposes, but also used for evidence that our staff's cleaning has not damaged the vehicle any worse or at all. Our company also is permitted to be aware if the vehicle was recently purchased or if the vehicle is intended for sale. If the vehicle is in the process of being put for sale and this service is too clean to sell, we do require any roadworthy certificates and/or any documents that include roadworthy issues that need to be rectified. This is to ensure we are not being put in a position to pay for any damages we have not caused or accountable for damages we did not commit. This is only required if necessary and requested.
- Prior to servicing, we do require the client to identify, point out or include in their booking, details of any components or parts that are already broken, in a fragile condition or about to fail. Extra care will be taken during the cleaning process. However if the staff feels unsure and not confident about cleaning that specific damaged part/area, then the staff is permitted to clean around it or refrain from that component/ area without any change in fee, or circumstance. We will do our very best to ensure our quality is efficient and conduct professionally, however it is not our duty to clean on parts that may create more damage upon the cleaning.
- If any mechanical/ electrical parts fail while at our home based/ mobile, Prestige Car Cleaning does not accept any responsibility to make repairs or cover any failure costs. Examples of such failures could be windows, mirror or door malfunctions, convertible roof issues, auto not starting with or without key start, seats locking up, seat belt issues, or electrical or screen display failure etc. No refunds will be given as it is solely up to the client to address any pre existing or prior issues on the vehicle. Once we touch the car, we assume and expect the whole vehicle to be available for cleaning the way we have been requested to, within the package guidelines requested, unless advised otherwise prior to the service cleaning.
- In any case, Prestige Car Cleaning are not and will not be accountable or responsible for any repairs if failing parts that may tear, break or come loose in the cleaning service.
- If we are not made aware of any defects, and our team finds a defect, we are not required to clean that part properly. If this happens, the customer will be advised and the part may be documented for evidence. The staff are able to advise the client of this defect; at the time, after the time or around the time of checking the vehicle prior or after the cleaning service is conducted.
Interior Detailing/ Cleaning:
- Clients/ Customers are permitted to clear any personal belongings and items from the vehicle prior to appointments or bookings. Prestige Car Cleaning as previously detailed in the statement that we are not responsible for any loss items.
- Glove box interiors are not permitted to be cleaned if there are personal items in the glove box. Owner contents in glove boxes will not be touched. If the glove box is emptied, then we are required to wipe over depending on the package selected.
- Child car seats are permitted to be removed prior to the appointment if you require the seat cleaned under the child seat. We will not move the child car seat as we are not qualified or experts in re-installing child seats to meet specifications. Any customer or client that requests child seat removal, will agree and request this in an evident text message or signed document that the staff provides. This is to ensure we are not required to reinstall the car seat, and that the client has requested removal of the child seat with the knowledge that we will not be reinstalling the seat after the car cleaning servicing.
- For vehicles that may have extra dog hair, dirt or sand conditions that are greater than the average amount of time to clean, or may take extra time to detail, there may be a surcharge of $40 per extra hour. The Staff may include this charge or not depending on how much extra time they may need. Staff will advise client/ customer of this. This will be up to the customer if they agree, otherwise staff is permitted to keep cleaning within the package selected without spending too much time on the extra dirt/dog hair/ sand/ or mess that is on the vehicle.
- Prestige Car Cleaning usually will not clean the inside of enclosed canopies on utes or large trucks. This is because most owners may have them filled with tools and supplies which makes the inside a challenge to access. If the client/customer requests for this area to be cleaned, it is available at an optional price. This will be priced with the Staff member assigned to that booking.
Exterior Detailing/ Cleaning
- Prestige Car Cleaning is not responsible for any damages including paint damage during any polishing, waxing or external detail process that may take place on painted surfaces, including painted surfaces that have aged, that are of deficient cover/design or have started to lift or crack off the surface. Staff may take photos/videos or document any prior damage or pre existing scratches or dints.
- Prestige Car Cleaning does not take any accountability or responsibility for any damages to paint protective film (PPF) covering that may have occurred within the washing process. Our staff will ask our customers if there are any pre-existing damages, or any protective coatings on the vehicle. If so, we will wash those areas with a low- pressure water hose, and refrain from using a pressure washer to avoid any possible damage.
- Our staff will clean any aftermarket tinted windows, with care and without any sharp cleaning tools. We do not take any responsibility for any part that lifts or breaks during the cleaning servicing.
- Our staff will only clean sunroof glass surfaces with the sunroof being closed. We do not open the sunroof windows to any area of cleaning. Any sunroof tracks are advised to be cleaned by the auto glass shops who have the expertise to clean, degrease tracks and check all drainage/ lubrication systems and vents to ensure correct movement and water drainage.
- Prestige Car Cleaning are not required to clean any decorative items such as auto brand emblems, trim or roof racks or other such items that may be damaged in the cleaning service. If staff are requested to do so, the customer needs to ensure that all items are in good condition, not faded, torn or starting to peel/lift off the bonding surface. This will be signed off by request in the documentation forms provided.
Specific/ Valuable Items:
- Prestige Car Cleaning are not responsible for any repairs of carbon filters and are not required to change them or install them.
- We are not required to replace or change car batteries including any dead or weak batteries. Customers are responsible for advising if the vehicle has a weak battery. It is up to the customer to ensure the battery is charged and able to sustain its battery life with the doors open while in car servicing. Customers must be aware prior that weak batteries may affect our cleaning ability while we clean with the doors open. It is not our responsibility if the car battery dies while we are in cleaning service.
- Prestige Car Cleaning takes a lot of care when washing and cleaning the engine. In some cases where there may be electrical fuse boxes or other electrical devices that are not properly sealed, ultimately letting water in, we will request the client to bring the car back to do an engine dry if required. Prestige Car Cleaning will not take any responsibility to pay owners any bills from other services that have been used to dry the engine.
Please remove all valuables from your vehicle prior to the booking. PCC Company do not take responsibility for damage or missing items left in the vehicle. Once the keys are handed over for the servicing, any valuables that are left, and are not accounted for are not liable for any PCC employee to take responsibility for. As the PCC team strives for efficiency and reliability, we will do our very best to keep any left valuables where they were found, However we do not take any responsibility for any damage or missing items. It is our job and duty of care, to service the vehicle, not look after items within the vehicle. As provided within the Australian Consumer Law, Prestige Car Cleaning expressly disclaims liability for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever which is suffered or sustained in connection with your participation in or making available your vehicle for the provision of car wash services. Prestige Car Cleaning will abide by its obligations pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law, and these terms and conditions should not be taken to limit those obligations.
Prestige Car Cleaning Packages:
- All packages include descriptive areas of what is being cleaned and how long the process may roughly take. Prices depend on package, time, extra areas to clean or extra time required. Overall payment may vary depending on this but all payments are required to be paid on the day of the clean servicing.
- All clients are required to fill out any forms given to them.
- All clients have the right to be issued a receipt. The staff do not issue this on the day of servicing. Please allow 24 hours for receipt to be sent out. However if required, can be arranged via relevant paper, text or email at customers request.
- Depending on the requested package, please keep in mind that we take bookings based on the general time of cleaning suggested. If the vehicle is taking longer than expected, charges may apply or may need to reschedule the last part of cleaning if it is taking up majorities of previously booked services. Prestige Car Cleaning has created the packages with enough time of duration for the packages to be cleaned. This does not mean we need to get the cleaning service done within that exact time frame as some cars may take longer than others. This may also depend on the quality of the car, and what needs to be done, how the condition of the car is and we strive to keep our expectations advisable and realistic. If we feel the car servicing may take longer than expected, we will advise the customer during the servicing. It will ultimately be up to the customer if they wish for our staff to get it done quickly within the time frame, or allow us extra time and organise a rebook. This may incur additional fees depending on the condition of the vehicle.
Employees of Prestige Car Cleaning are remunerated against any liability, injury, loss or damage that may be suffered, incurred or sustained during any booking, Relating to, or in any way connected with, any act or omission (including negligence) by You, your vehicle or Your breach of these terms and conditions.
Gift Cards and Promotional Offers
Prestige Car Cleaning offers gift cards at customer request. The Gift cards can range from a minimum of $20- maximum of $500. The Gift Cards Policy includes but not subject to:
- Gift Cards will have a 12 month expiry date with them.
- Can be used with more than one booking as long as the name on the gift card is the same person.
- Gift Card is valid for 3 years from date of purchase
- Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash
- Gift Cards may come as an eGift Card or as a voucher. It can also be emailed.
Promotional Offers will vary depending on the offers available. All offers will have its own expiry date and it’s on Policies that will be advised and documented to the customer when the offers have been released. Promotional Offers will change accordingly.
Prestige Car Cleaning, will also offer loyalty points at different times throughout the year. The terms and conditions of our loyalty program will vary and be informed and documented on the time of it being released. The expiry dates may also change accordingly.
Bookings
Online bookings will require full name, details of service package and any other required details, with contact information of the client/customer.
- You may use vouchers/gift cards if available with your online booking.
- You may incur a 25% cancellation fee if you do not give 12 hours cancellation notice from when the booking is for. You may cancel via phone call, message or email.
You may also make a booking via telephone by contacting Prestige Car Cleaning, or emailing via emails or social media Accounts of Prestige Car Cleaning.
You may discuss in an email, text or phone call about the packages you are interested in, however we do need your booking confirmed via written consent such as message or email. Failure to appoint booking through a written and confirmed booking, may result in the booking not being booked.
Refund
Please choose your package carefully as we do not issue refunds out, unless:
- Staff have evidently damaged the vehicle during their cleaning service. There needs to be evidence that this has occurred based on disclaimers.
- If a client has pre purchased a package for a booking and needs to cancel the booking, we may offer a re-schedule, but we do not offer refunds.
- If a client is not happy or satisfied with the quality of the final outcome, we may issue a refund depending on evidence provided that the staff did not efficiently do their job accordingly. The Client must provide the chosen package, and include as much details provided to the Director of Prestige Car Cleaning at [email protected]. The Director is permitted to accept or reject the refund request depending on the circumstance, information provided and the situation itself. As every customer is different, every booking is made to be dealt with accordingly and in a professional manner from both parties. The director may need 1-2 weeks to come up with a decision.
- No abuse is permitted at the home based, or mobile, to any of the parties involved.
- Any abuse will be sent through to the Director, and dealt with accordingly.

We may also use your personal information for research intentions and product development and services, staff training and communication for promotional offers. Please provide your current details with daytime contact details, including all information and detailed summary of your concerns/complaint. After the complaint is issued and addressed to the Director or Prestige Car Cleaning, please allow 1- 2 business weeks for a resolution. The Prestige Car Cleaning Team will consider and determine whether the matter requires investigation, and what appropriate action is needed to resolve the issue. Any and every complaint will be dealt with accordingly and in a professional manner. Please be mindful that the Director strives to provide efficient and professional servicing to you and your vehicle. We strive as a Company to deliver quality service to the vehicle and to our customers. We will do what we can, however in accordance with our Policy and Procedures.
